The Nauset High School Music Department is one of the most active on the Cape and Islands. In the recent past, our groups have travelled and performed in Dublin Ireland, Montreal Quebec, New York City New York and Atlanta Georgia. Nauset music students are also very connected to our community; holding performances throughout the academic year in each of our constituent towns.
Fine and Applied Arts Nights
Please consider joining us for two of the best nights of the year at Nauset High School. Our entire Fine Arts department shows works of our students from the previous academic year. Our galleries are filled with outstanding student work. In addition to these art installations, a fashion show will be held on Wednesday, May 22 at 6:30 in the courtyard. Concerts will be held on Wed May 22 and Thurs May 23 at 7:00 pm in the auditorium. Admission is free and these events are open to the public.
May 30 7:00 pm: If you haven’t heard our award-winning jazz band this year, you owe it to yourself to come see and hear them play. This is the 17th annual “Swing Night” that features our jazz music students. This year’s concert will be held at the Elk’s Lodge in Eastham. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased in advance as well as at the door. (information firstname.lastname@example.org)
Music Awards Night
May 31 6:00 pm: This is a private party for our outstanding music students. The Nauset Music Boosters donates much to make this night happen. Traditionally, pictures are on the deck at 6p, dinner is at 7p, the award presentations begin at 8p and, this year again, Hyannis Sound will be our entertainment. This evening is for music students only and tickets are sold in advance (no walk-ins please). Dress to impress as it’s a night to celebrate all the accomplishments of the school year.
Nauset High School Graduation
June 8 at 1:00 pm: (Honors Chorus) Commencement exercises for the class of 2019. The Honors Chorus will perform the National Anthem as well as a feature piece.
